Join us for a special first of a 2-part edition of Caring for Others, Caring for Ourselves where we hear from a panel of community stakeholders from diverse communities across Massachusetts about how they are becoming age- and dementia friendly — growing collaboration across sectors to support older individuals and their families in the most creative and innovative ways! Panel to include Ginny Mazur, MA, LMHC, ATR, Ginny Mazur is the Community Partnership Director at Goddard House. Trained in theater, as a counselor and as an inter-modal expressive arts therapist, she worked in the field of mental health for over a decade before launching a career in aging services at Goddard House 20 years ago. She supervises expressive therapy graduate interns and has taught as adjunct faculty at Lesley University in Cambridge, MA. Ginny is active in numerous arts and media projects, including those that support arts access for people with neuro-cognitive and physical disabilities,Christine Alessandro ,Executive Director at BayPath Elder Services, and Jayne Colino, Director, Newton Council on Aging .
