CARE ACT: Have you been a caregiver for someone and found yourself out of the loop when that person was hospitalized or in rehab? Suddenly, you had no rights to information so necessary for you to meet this person’s needs! This legislation, the Caregiver Advise, Record, Enable (CARE) ACT, would change that, bringing you into the fold as part of the full care team from the time your loved one is hospitalized through discharge and recovery. You would know how to handle medications, injections, wounds, and more!
